The Art of Living Talk Series by NLB & Lucinda Law

This year’s final Art of Living talk session will have intrepid travellers, James Chua, Lyndalou Yang and Sonia Mao sharing their travel journeys rooted in nature, and the inspirations that come from them.

Check out their travel adventures in destinations such as trekking and camping in Alaska among the bears and glaciers, African plains in Zimbabwe, conservation efforts in Philippines, Taiji (Japan), and nature spots in Singapore.

Whether you’re seeking for ideas on how to contribute to nature-led projects or exploring possibilities to embark on a solo journey as a female traveller, you can be sure to find many travel tips, insightful reflections and spectacular images from our speakers.

About the speakers:

James Chua enjoys nature photography and prefers to create awareness through photographs about animals and their plight. While traveling, he tries to volunteer some time supporting nature-related projects. He currently works as an Education Facilitator for Wildlife Reserves Singapore, a nature guide for the Singapore Environment Council and assisting in a few ad-hoc nature research projects.

Lyndalou Yang cites travelling as her therapy and helps her cultivate a sense of open-mindedness. She enjoys meeting people of various background and cultures which have taught her empathy, acceptance and compassion. She will be sharing some of her traveling experiences on backpacking in Australia, surfing in Taiwan, road tripping in New Zealand and camping in Alaska.

Sonia Mao is an adventurer with restless feet who travels light (this applies to both her backpack and wallet). Currently working for Skyscanner, Sonia will be sharing her African Safari experience and her time spent in the Himalayas - an inspiring lesson on how balanced the relationship between man and nature could be.
